Custom WordPress plugins, connected to your systems

A custom WordPress plugin adds what your site is missing, without changing your theme. It can import data on a schedule from a ticketing system, an inventory or a CRM, create content types of your own and give your editors simple tools in WordPress and Elementor.

Who is a custom plugin for?

It fits when your WordPress site serves you well, except that it doesn’t talk to your other systems.

  • Performing arts venues and festivals

The show lineup comes from the ticketing system and updates itself during the day.

  • Businesses with an inventory

Products, prices and availability imported from your management system.

  • Organizations that publish a lot

Content types of your own, such as members, projects or resources, with their own fields.

  • Teams that work in Elementor

The designer places the real data in their templates, with no code.

What’s included

  • The connection to your systems

Scheduled imports through the API of your ticketing system, inventory or CRM, with a log of each run.

  • Protected changes

A lock on each field keeps your team’s version, even when the source changes its own.

  • Elementor dynamic tags and widgets

Your data becomes elements the designer drags into their pages.

  • Schema.org structured data

Your events, products or services described for Google and for AI search engines.

  • A simplified menu for editors

They find what they’re looking for without digging through the WordPress admin.

  • Lighter images

Photos converted to WebP, with the original kept.

What’s not included

  • Redesigning your theme or your design. Your theme and your Elementor pages stay in place.
  • Writing the content of your pages.
  • Licences for Elementor Pro and other commercial plugins, which stay in your name.

How the project runs

  1. Step 11 to 2 weeks

    Discovery

J3B Web looks at your site, your systems and their API documentation. Sometimes an existing plugin is enough, and you’ll be told.

  2. Step 2About 1 week

    Plan and quote

You decide together which data comes from the source, which your team edits, and how often the site syncs.

  3. Step 31 to 3 weeks

    UX design

The admin screens and the Elementor tags are planned with your designer.

  4. Step 44 to 16 weeks depending on scope

    Development

The plugin is first installed on a copy of your site, where each version is tried before production.

  5. Step 51 to 2 weeks

    Testing and launch

A first full sync, a check of the pages, then training for your editors.

  6. Step 6Ongoing

    Growth and support

J3B Web keeps up with updates to WordPress, Elementor and your systems’ APIs.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to rebuild my site to add a plugin?

No. The plugin is added to your current site. Your theme, Elementor and your pages stay in place, and your editors keep working as before.

What happens when the source changes data our team has edited?

If the field is locked, the plugin keeps your team’s version. The other fields, such as dates and statuses, update on their own.

Does the plugin work with Elementor?

Yes. It adds dynamic tags, widgets and filters that the designer uses in their Elementor templates, with the real data.

When is a dedicated app the better choice?

When your employees or clients need to log in to manage files, invoices or schedules. For a site’s public content, such as a show lineup or a catalog, a plugin is often the simplest path.
